Restorative Climate Specialist

Full-time · Baltimore, Maryland · Monday–Friday, 7:45 a.m.–3:45 p.m.

Salary: $50,000–$60,000 | Application period: Open until filled

The Restorative Climate Specialist helps build and sustain a safe, affirming, orderly, and restorative school culture in which scholars can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

This highly visible role combines relationship-building with accountability. The specialist provides proactive behavioral support, facilitates restorative interventions, helps scholars repair harm and resolve conflict, manages reflection and re-entry processes, leads a small Crew/advisory, and partners with teachers, families, school leadership, and the scholar-support team.

Strong candidates will bring experience working with adolescents and demonstrated skill in de-escalation, conflict mediation, relationship-building, emotional regulation, documentation, professional communication, and responding to challenging behavior without escalating or humiliating young people.
