Send Lillie May Scholars to China
Support a planned educational immersion in Beijing and Xi’an. The campaign describes travel, preparation, and cultural learning that help scholars experience a wider world.

LMCJ’s Givebutter hub brings the school’s active campaigns together in one place. It also includes event ticketing, registrations, dues, and school purchases; those are different from a general charitable gift.
Open a campaign to read its purpose and available options before paying. For general school support, denote Annual Fund. For a particular campaign, use its direct donation page or any available giving method and identify the campaign name and year.

How is a campaign gift different from the Annual Fund?
A specific campaign explains its own fundraising purpose. Annual Fund gifts provide flexible support for general school priorities. Either can be given through an available method: identify the campaign name and year, or Annual Fund. Contact us if you are unsure.
What happens when a campaign is no longer featured here?
This page highlights selected opportunities; the live Givebutter hub is the place to review active and past listings. Availability and checkout details can change. Contact us if you want to support a purpose whose campaign is no longer open.
What if a campaign reaches its goal or its plans change?
Before giving, contact us to confirm the campaign’s current availability, deadline, and any terms governing excess gifts, a shortfall, or a change in plans. We will clarify the applicable arrangement with you. Do not assume a campaign gift will automatically become Annual Fund support or an endowment.
When will a PayPal or check gift appear in the total?
After staff confirm the payment and campaign designation, they can credit the same gift to the appropriate Givebutter campaign as an offline entry. This updates public progress without collecting your payment again. Allow time for verification and recording; contact us if you need help matching a gift.
Do existing recurring donors need to change their plans?
No. Keep your existing recurring plan. A new website page or a different featured campaign does not require you to cancel or duplicate your gift. Contact us if an older campaign title leaves you unsure about the purpose of your current plan.

Choose the school purpose or open campaign you want to support, then choose an available way to give. Please write the campaign name and year, or “Annual Fund,” in the memo, designation, or note field where available. For a tribute, include the honoree’s name as well.
If there is no note field, contact us with your name, gift date, amount, and intended campaign so we can identify your gift. Please confirm a closed campaign, new restriction, named fund, or endowment arrangement with us before giving.
PayPal
Use our existing PayPal option. Add your campaign or Annual Fund designation where a note is available, or contact us separately to identify the gift.
Givebutter
Use the campaign’s own donation page, or choose Donate on our general hub and include the campaign name and year in the available note or comment field.
Check
Write the campaign name and year, or Annual Fund, in the memo. Confirm the check payee with us before mailing to LMCJ, 2200 Sinclair Lane, Baltimore, MD 21213.
Donor-advised fund
Ask us to confirm legal recipient details and campaign eligibility before recommending a grant. Include your intended campaign in the grant purpose. DAF grants should not pay for tickets, merchandise, or personal benefits.
Employer matching
Ask whether your employer can match an eligible gift. Tell us which original gift and campaign the match relates to so we can connect the records.
Stock or another arranged gift
Discuss the campaign, timing, and gift with us first. Securities, transfers, pledges, and special arrangements require confirmed acceptance and verified instructions before you proceed.

Gifts received through PayPal, checks, or another method are included in the relevant campaign’s public total after staff verify and record them. They may not appear immediately. Your payment confirmation and the school’s acknowledgment help document your gift.
These options are for charitable gifts. Tickets, registrations, dues, merchandise, and sponsorships with benefits follow their own payment instructions; a donation memo does not reserve admission or purchase an item. Existing recurring gifts can continue through their current service.

If your payment had no memo field, or you want to clarify its purpose, send us the campaign name and year, your gift date, amount, and giving method. For general school support, denote Annual Fund.
This form sends a notice to Kristina for staff review. It does not process a payment, issue a donation receipt, or immediately increase a campaign total. Staff match it to the payment before updating the school’s records.
