Women of the Movement 2026: Arts in Motion – Voices of Change

As part of Women of the Movement 2026: Arts in Motion – Voices of Change, scholars from Lillie May Carroll Jackson Charter School had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with this year’s distinguished honorees, including Dr. Myrtis Bedolla, Dr. Leslie King-Hammond, and Lady Brion. Through thoughtful dialogue, these interviews reflect the power of storytelling, intergenerational learning, and the importance of amplifying voices that are shaping our communities today. This series not only celebrates the honorees, but also highlights the confidence, curiosity, and leadership of LMCJ scholars as they step into spaces of dialogue and impact.
