Women of the Movement · Year-round connection
Her example.
Her voice.
The girls who come next.
Women of the Movement brings the leadership of women and the possibilities of our scholars into the same story. Stay connected through the annual celebration, a sponsorship conversation, or a gift inspired by the movement.
A story larger than one evening
Leadership she can see.
A future she can imagine.
Lillie May Carroll Jackson’s name connects our school to a history of women organizing, building institutions, and putting resources behind a shared purpose. Women of the Movement carries that spirit into a gathering centered on women’s leadership and our girls’ futures.
The annual celebration is one way to take part. The relationship can continue through the year—with an introduction, a conversation, an expression of generosity, or an invitation to learn more about our scholars.
This page is the lasting place to understand the different ways to participate. Event dates, tickets, and sponsorship details belong to the relevant year’s event information.

Different ways to participate.
Give through the year
Support with intention.
For a charitable gift associated with Women of the Movement, choose an available method above and denote “Women of the Movement,” adding the event year if your gift is for a particular celebration. Tell us if you intend unrestricted Annual Fund support instead. Contact us to confirm a special purpose or sponsorship before paying.
Attend or sponsor
Join the annual gathering.
Ask about the next celebration, a table, or an event sponsorship. Availability, benefits, payment instructions, and recognition must be confirmed for that event year.
Share a connection
Bring someone into the story.
Introduce a potential partner or supporter, share the school’s work, or explore a volunteer connection. A thoughtful introduction can be the beginning of a lasting relationship.
To our ongoing supporters
Your commitment
continues here.
If you already give monthly through an existing Women of the Movement campaign, thank you. You do not need to cancel, recreate, or duplicate your plan because the website has a new giving section.
Use the recurring-plan link in your Givebutter receipt to manage your gift. If the campaign title or an older event date leaves you unsure about its purpose, contact us and we can review it with you.
Keep the distinction clear
Your intention
comes first.
A donation, an event purchase, and an unrestricted Annual Fund gift are different choices.
Is Women of the Movement the Annual Fund?
No. The Annual Fund invites unrestricted support for general school priorities. Women of the Movement is a distinct relationship and event pathway. Please tell us whether you intend a general school gift, year-round support associated with Women of the Movement, or participation in a particular event.
Where do I find dates, tickets, and sponsorship packages?
Ask us for the current event information before paying. A past celebration page is a record of that year; its date, ticket availability, honorees, or sponsorship benefits should not be assumed to apply to a future event.
Can my gift honor someone?
Yes, we welcome tribute conversations. Tell us whom you would like to honor and whether you intend general school support or a particular agreed purpose. For a named fund or memorial collection, discuss the terms with us before inviting others to give.

Your purpose. Your way to give.
Choose a campaign.
Choose how you give.
Choose the school purpose or open campaign you want to support, then choose an available way to give. Please write the campaign name and year, or “Annual Fund,” in the memo, designation, or note field where available. For a tribute, include the honoree’s name as well.
If there is no note field, contact us with your name, gift date, amount, and intended campaign so we can identify your gift. Please confirm a closed campaign, new restriction, named fund, or endowment arrangement with us before giving.
PayPal
Use our existing PayPal option. Add your campaign or Annual Fund designation where a note is available, or contact us separately to identify the gift.
Givebutter
Use the campaign’s own donation page, or choose Donate on our general hub and include the campaign name and year in the available note or comment field.
Check
Write the campaign name and year, or Annual Fund, in the memo. Confirm the check payee with us before mailing to LMCJ, 2200 Sinclair Lane, Baltimore, MD 21213.
Donor-advised fund
Ask us to confirm legal recipient details and campaign eligibility before recommending a grant. Include your intended campaign in the grant purpose. DAF grants should not pay for tickets, merchandise, or personal benefits.
Employer matching
Ask whether your employer can match an eligible gift. Tell us which original gift and campaign the match relates to so we can connect the records.
Stock or another arranged gift
Discuss the campaign, timing, and gift with us first. Securities, transfers, pledges, and special arrangements require confirmed acceptance and verified instructions before you proceed.
Already gave? Tell us about your gift →
Gifts received through PayPal, checks, or another method are included in the relevant campaign’s public total after staff verify and record them. They may not appear immediately. Your payment confirmation and the school’s acknowledgment help document your gift.
These options are for charitable gifts. Tickets, registrations, dues, merchandise, and sponsorships with benefits follow their own payment instructions; a donation memo does not reserve admission or purchase an item. Existing recurring gifts can continue through their current service.
A community behind every scholar
